Decor was excellent. Views were great.

Very steep steps leading to the property. Kitchen lacked a lot of equipment. Just 2 saucepans, no potato masher, scissors. Food tongs. No bin liners. No oven gloves.

Lovely little cottage, very homely feel, very comfortable and very clean.

Despite numerous attempts simply couldn’t get the WiFi to work. Also, I imagine they opened the windows to air the place but spent the first evening hoovering all the spiders and insects up in every room! Front porch was a spider sanctuary so avoided using the front door.

Comfortable

Not knowing about the key not being on the safe lock. It was in the house. On WiFi Cobwebs in the bedrooms Only 4 chairs around the table when it sleeps 5 Cockerel’s crowing at the crack of dawn from across the road. The emergency out of ours from Sykes cottage were less than unhelpful. We called them and they never got back to us even though we left two messages saying we could not get into the house.

Cute, tidy little ex council house, nice view from the front bedrooms, nice that windows opened fully. Nice large kitchen area. Great washing machine!

Bit of a squeeze for 5 people, more suited to 4 people. One double bed quite a small one, more like a king single. Dining seating only for 4. Parking would suit smaller car as it is quite a squeeze to get around the back of property for parking space. We had a large car which we ended up parking down the road at a friend’s property.
